In my mid-20s I started going on at least one international cave/karst project per year. My focus has largely been on Asia. Of course, this is in addition to my regular research in the Virginias. I also frequently speak on various aspects of cave and karst related mapping and GIS.
Is there something you do or like that would surprise people?
1) I earned a private pilot’s license at the age of 17, entirely self-funded.
2) My favorite movie genre is French Romance. The French have yet to replace their writers with CGI clichés.
