Draper Aden Associates provided multiple services for the restoration of Thomas Jefferson's 330-acre Montalto into a world class multi-purpose educational facility as part of the Robert H.Smith Center for Jefferson Studies. Site engineering design included water, stormwater management and erosion and sediment control plans Our utilities design included analysis of well safe yield and water quality, and design of a new treatment facility to remove iron and manganese, which includes a greensand filter, backwash pumps, finished water pumps, a 10,000 gallon storage tank, hydropneumatic tank, and associated building. This project has been awarded Silver LEED Certification.
