As part of a team Draper Aden Associates prepared a Master Utility Plan for the 15,000-acre mountaintop golf resort, a feasibility study for the remaining resort areas, as well as providing preliminary engineering services for initial development. We developed a community water system model for the purposes of evaluating numerous supply, distribution, water storage and pressure scenarios for the proposed initial 2500-acre development parcel.

Services for the golf course included wetland preparation of the site, erosion and sediment control plan, and drainage plan for the 116-acre course. Working closely with the golf course architects, we provided for the minimization of wetland impacts and compiled plans/specifications for the enhancement of native plant species.

Infrastructure design services included the course irrigation supply system, which involved pumping surface water from two existing impoundments located four miles from the site, designing five pumping stations, including the main irrigation station, designing a 500,000 gallon buried water storage tank, and a satellite/internet-based telemetry and control system for the irrigation supply.
