Initially, a Tier 2 sampling and analysis program was developed and performed. Subsequent to this effort, gas migration occurred on the eastern side of the site, leading to the development of a Gas Management Plan, and the design/installation of wellfield and blower flare station. Currently, Draper Aden Associates is providing operational monitoring, maintenance and field adjustments to the active gas extraction system that encompasses three major fill areas, as well as the blower flare station. Interface with the landfill gas developer will be required, and noise monitoring of the system proposed is being conducted.
