Draper Aden Associates offers fully staffed survey teams from each of our Virginia offices.  .  We utilize the latest electronic data collection equipment accompanied by traditional survey techniques, in conjunction with satellite Global Positioning Systems (GPS).  We are fully automated with robotic total stations and data collectors in the field for quick and easy transfer of data to computers and data plotters.  These devices interface with site personnel and office technicians so information is gathered and downloaded quickly and cost-effectively.  Data brought in from the field is electronically downloaded into our AutoCAD system for base map generation.  This method of data reduction speeds entry and eliminates the possibility of data entry error.  AutoCAD map generation provides a simple, straightforward product, and allows for the manipulation of water and sewer line routing.  In addition, the software automatically generates coordinates and utility line profiles, saving time and effort by the designer.  Our AutoCAD software uses Land Development Desktop2i with Civil, Survey and Cad Overlay modules for base mapping, site design, surface modeling, and surveying.
