DAA Survey Division Welcomes New Leadership
Draper Aden Associates is pleased to welcome Robert Mann, LS, and David Ashley, LS to lead our Survey Division team. We couldn’t be more excited about the knowledge, experience, and passion for the industry that they bring to the firm!
Robert Mann joined DAA in October and is the new Survey Division Manager. In his new role, he leads the firm’s Survey division in services related to scanning, surveying, mapping, and subsurface utility engineering. He specializes in land surveying, including topographic, boundary, construction stakeout, and right-of-way surveys. He is a licensed land surveyor in Virginia and North Carolina and is an active member of the Virginia Association of Surveyors and the Hampton Roads Utility and Heavy Contractors Association. Robert’s expertise has encompassed nearly every aspect of civil engineering and land surveying over the past 34 years, and we’re so excited to welcome him as the leader of the Survey Division team!
DAA is also pleased to welcome David Ashley as the new Richmond Team Leader for the Survey Division. David has more than 45 years of experience in surveying, land planning and development, and subsurface utility engineering. In his new role, he leads the Survey Division’s experienced Richmond team. David is a licensed land surveyor in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Pennsylvania. He also has a land surveyor part B designation in Virginia, which gives him an opportunity to complete design work for the firm. He is an active member of the Virginia Association of Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
